It's been a year since I had Xperia 1, what I can say is that even if it has shortcomings, on the performance side I have nothing to comment on, it didn't crash at least once and it didn't even have a lag, the battery lasts like in the first day, and I get somewhere at 4 hours, 4 and a half hours of active screen, 5 and a half hours if I discharge all the battery, the cameras have been improved by a few updates, but I admit that it is behind the competition on the photo side, the games go with the settings to the maximum without any problem
This phone is currently offered as an Amazon Prime day deal for 749.00 with Sony headphones. Is it worth it roughly a year after release? I hope you see this because it's the last day for this deal.

Yeah get a Oneplus 7 Pro and throw it away in the bin in the next 6 months or spend it on Sony xperia to keep it for the next 3 years if you really want to with no lag. I have had the one plus 3T, Xperia xz1 and nexus 4 so I know what makes a good phone. Know this Sony phones have some peculiar flaws but overall you can't find a better one and you will definitely be happy with your purchase. If you really like a phone buy it no matter what the phone is, these reviewers are just plain BS and make money while giving turdsh*t reviews.

Your review is what we really want all the disadvantages of the mobile, but try adding up some pros about the mobile, some people may had left blacklisting SONY products without even knowns, how great sony products are, please add some positiveness in your review. Just a request.

Well i personally moved from Samsung S7 to the cheaper Xperia 10 and i couldn't be happier. the 21:9 aspect ratio should become the new standard in smart phones, it just has to be that way.

Watching this in anticipation of the mark II. It's poised to possibly quietly become the best phone of the year. Camera engineering from the Sony Alpha division. New, larger camera sensor. Eye autofocus tracking. Added time of flight sensor. Exposure tracking. High quality audio jack. Much larger battery. Wireless charge. Newly designed, stronger speakers. Still 4k. Still HDR. Still 10 bit color. USB C. Dedicated camera button. Side mounted fingerprint scanner. The new phone literally has everything I could possibly want in a phone.
I've owned the X1 for 6 weeks and apart from the finger print scanner I love mine.. Camera is awesome (finally) , speakers could have better bass response… but theyre loud.. Screen is incredible and very bright in sunlight using auto brightness and I get about 2 days from my battery on moderate use.. Its brilliant.. Sony did good this time
