You need to have the financial literacy to understand what you’re getting into with all the credit cards. You need to have a willingness to spend money in order to extract the maximum value out of your points.
You gotta to be willing to put in the time and energy to learn the ropes, since this stuff doesn’t come easy. You gotta think about how comfortable you are with the idea of “getting something for nothing”.
And finally, you should retain some perspective and remember that earning and redeeming points is all a little bit of fun and that it’s ultimately quite a superficial pursuit.
