Samsung definitely missed the mark on making a new affordable DeX-capable smartphone. Samsung can easily make an updated version of this phone with Snapdragon 870, 8GB RAM, and a headphone jack. I wouldn't even care if it doesn't have a great camera, that's not what the A90 is all about in the first place.

Well I've dipped out if this is gonna cost a kidney or 2 as my left one was stolen by the medics crew 6 years back ! But there's only ONE drawback on the A90 for me and that's the crappy speaker and if they can't be bothered to put decent audio on something so expensive you might as well go with the A70 and save a packet ! I mean, my S9+ is pretty neat, my S5e tablet has QUAD speakers so why the heck does a company cut corners on something that I consider to be a major feature. It'd be like listening to Radio Caroline in the 60s when we was at school in London. Jeepers, stereo at least. So I'll keep my kidney and go for the A70 or even A51.

Samsung sells these phones direcly for £399.00 ($500.00). Bought one in early February. The moment I took it out of the box and stuck Vodafone Sim in, it upgraded Android 9.0 to Android 10.0. Tried the phone on 5G at London Canary Wharf, it worked well. The Snapdragon 855 is identical to what you find in Google Pixel XL etc. screen is not as good as in S20+ that costs £999.00, but at the price, why worry. As far as camera is concerned? The 26mm main lens and 12mm ultra wide lens are pin sharp, but you need to take few seconds for autofocus to lock. Macro photography is great. I would have liked the 50mm+ lens and 3x optical zoom of the S20+ phone, but when you consider £600.00 saving agsinst the price of S20+ … the A90 5G makes sense. Considering it is a Samsung, it must be a best value midrange phone around.

I can't decide between the OnePlus 7t or the Galaxy A90. I play a lot of Pubg mobile, which one would you recommend?

The system colours on my A90 5G just don't look very accurate, especially noticeable on the reds(which look like a bright orange to me). The image is sharp but colours are lacking. Anyone else find this? I am still running Android 9 as my carrier hasn't updated it to Android 10 yet..grr

Watched this vid before Xmas as I was looking to get it. Really enjoying the phone. Runs games brilliantly and the display is fantastic. Was just wondering if anyone knows if the update to Android 10 and One UI on the A90 5G upgraded the audio while listening with earphones? I can definitely notice a difference in the loudness from before the update came out. Is it something that's happened to all android devices that updated to Android 10 or is it because Samsung added something for their devices?
