Dell latitude E7240 bị lỗi sạc không vào pin nhưng khi gắn pin vào laptop lại tắt. Nó không được sạc pin và Bảo vệ dòng điện đã được kích hoạt với pin khi được bật. Nếu tắt bộ sạc điện áp 19V khi đã gắn pin nhưng cố bật máy tính xách tay khiến bộ sạc nhận về 0V do quá dòng từ bộ sạc. I have partially assembled the laptop to test the system with a SSD and installing windows, all works well running off battery, I tried to update the bios using dell utility (to see if it fixes the delayed bootup issue) but the bios software is saying I need charger and battery both connected first
If the charging chip is fried then how is the system still detecting there is no charger and/or battery connected, the battery charge percentage is also shown accurately in windows task bar
Is it possible for chip to be fried and still function normally? Thinking logically if the resistor you mentioned is short then it’s letting 19v straight into the chip and frying it (that’s why it fries every time I connect the charger), I’ll keep you updated, thanks again
