After all, is said and done what you are looking for maybe a 5 to 10 frame rate difference pending the game and it can go either way. Might as well buy an 8 – 10-year-old Xeon that once cost $1,200 to $1,500 for $20 – $80 bucks that could give those CPU's a run for the money.

More love for the non K CPU's.
I tried that cooler on a 8700 it said its a 65 Tdp cpu… But i got temps as high as 100 C right when i started to game BF1 with no framecap.
I have an i7 7700 running in a msi B250 VDH Pro, 16gb T-Force 2400mhz, Windows loaded on a Samsung 240gb M.2 ssd with Gigabyte 1080 G1 8GB OC graphics card and it runs every game I throw at it with no issues

Sir thing is I’m using currently intel i5 6600k skylake okay and till now nicely I’m doing good decent gaming mostly in very high – or – ultra with gtx 970 4gb .. 16gb ram with gigabyte g1 sniper b7 motherboard okay

on box speed difference is around 10% , performance should be higher like 14 to 16
If you have a good CPU cooler then you might as well go for the I7 7700. The cooler the CPU the better the turbo boost! I run mine with the cooler master hyper 212x and it stays nice and cool even with a 4.2Ghz boost. 🙂

I know this is an old vid, but i got in the game late when it comes to building a PC. with that said i currently on my 3rd build a CoolMaster Case, ROG 270 Motherboard, 16gigRam, M.2 512 SD, X2 4TB Purple WD drives for basic games, X2 Samsung EVO 960 SSD 250gigs for high-end gaming. GTX 1060 6gig GPU, i7 7700 CPU .How to bost the performance with this setup is it something i have to do in the BIOS? or this is something it do on its own.

Guys getting a budget PC with these specs Intel Core i7-7700, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10603GB, 16GB RAM, 1TB hard drive, 128GB SSD. Can this handle streaming a game like Overwatch at 720p 60 fps at least? Should I use the hardware encoder instead of x264, I'm a noob when it comes to this kinda thing, any advice is welcome.

I was thinking about Ryzen 1600X but ATM the i7 7700 seemed all way better (except price :P) + I couldn't find any decent micro atx board for Ryzen. But who knows, maybe with the next upgrade I will have AMD.
