  1. Hey I just wanted to say, I just started using Blender after years of being intimidated by it.. then pleasantly enjoying trash Sculptris, which turned into even more trash ZBrush Core Mini.. and realizing I was being robbed of my time trying to work with these programs that were tastes of expensive programs.. to put on my big girl panties and try out Blender for real this time. I’ve been slowly learning.. been searching the SubReddit of blender for tips and inspiration and what not, and found a lot of doughnuts, and another separate subreddit for these doughnuts.. so now I am here, supposed to be asleep.. craving not only a doughnut, but craving the action of doing this challenge in 7 hours and learning more things about Blender so I can become better and start creating more professional pieces! I’m excited, and it seems everyone is stressing this kind tutorial doesn’t come by often for free, just like blender.. so I’m going to happily do both things and be very happy and grateful for these things soon, so thank you.. I’m super excited!

  2. Love it, thanks a lot.🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🙋‍♂️
Will that monkey be on fire with that effect in Unity? or do you have to export special to unity for that?

  3. I was a design student over 10 yrs ago, i know autocad, solidworks, rhino. But im out of the ndsty for over 8 yrs. I recently want to buy a 3D printer for fun, n think i should be fine, i used to know how to use these problems, fire it up last week, n i was like….. what do i do again??? Then i was recommended blender, im here to learn. N appreciate the video ALOT! One day i will know how to use the 3D printer!

  4. When I click quick smoke the monkey disappears and the smoke flow is very very slow. Is this because I only have an integrated graphics card? I skipped this stage and my laptop crashed when I played with the nodes too. I may have to ignore the animation and rendering side of things and perfect my shape and sculpture skills until I get a better pc which sadly wont be for a long time.

  5. What I wish to learn in 2 days: VFX and GFX because it sounds interesting
What I learn in 2 days: blender is highly complicated

  6. can someone help me…european/german keyboard user here…what do I have to use for the tilda key? because my equivalent for the key doesn´t seem to do anything

  7. As a newb on Blender, and after watching this first tutorial, all of which was clear and concise, I realized there was one thing that I could've used and that is a hot key or other method of re-centering the cube back to its original position when the app was opened without having to grab, rotate, or scale it back into place. Is there a way?
