Damn this is the best advice I've heard in the past programming learning experience and I will share my own story.
I got my job as a product role 1+ yr ago with little programming background and most of my work is about improving a product, e.g. UX, functionality, and so on. The more I dig in to my work and try to excel, the more I get confused how things even work and I try watching bootcamps (there are some really good vids), I finally get the concepts clear but I got more confused because I just cant visualise everything holistically! Yes, VISUALISE! And thank you Devslopes again for your gold advice. Now I know what to do next.
Full-Stack Developer = Jack of all trades, master of none.
Well thats right on
I'd rather spend another 2 years studying than having to spend my time staring at CSS while trying to learn backend
I can confidently say, w/over 8 years as a Dev, everything this man said is true. 🙌🏼💯
Hey Sir how to start with front end developer.
Man, this is exactly what i'm thinking and some people are trying to sell me the idea of mastering front & back-end before looking for a job! You just made me feel confident about my desicion which is getting a front-end job first. Wish me luck, i'm still studying 😀
You need to learn front end first to learn backend ? Really bad advice. So many bad advices in this video.
Omg what a cool advice
I wish I saw this 7 months ago. I burnt my self out and quit for most of 2020
Solid advice.
Wow. Great video.
What is the best way to contact you about a product endorsement?
Yo this information really changed my life… Am just starting out thinking how I was going to get all these full stack knowledge as a newbie without getting my brains knocked out… Thanks for setting my mind at ease.. Pheww
Video summary 6:00
Wow, this is only the second video I watch on this channel, and I am getting the vibe that they are brutally honest. This is very solid, honest and truthful advice.
Wtf you don't want people to learn programming at all?
You should become a first queue developer. You get to work with fifo instead of lifo.
This was really good advice!
So glad that I found this video
I sort of disagree with the justification here. You’re right that in an ideal world, you’d be hired as either a front or backend developer specifically, but a lot of modern job postings for “junior front end developer” also include responsibilities of backend. I’d say (as a beginner) learn both anyways, with a focus on front end, and have at least enough knowledge of backend to put certain keywords on your resume. I get that companies put extra responsibilities in their job listings in order to cast a “weed out net” but they also think nothing of throwing away resumés that don’t have the right keywords
This guy just save millions of wasted lives.
Thanks for this information.
I am new start up so I want to start to learn frontend development .
Great advice! Coincides w/ my experience and observations exactly!
They just don't hire🤣
BS!!
The title should be "Why you shouldn't apply anywhere as Full stake developer", not what it is atm.
Wasted my time.
Thanks for opening eyes about full stack dev
i was hoping to go to a bootcamp where they teach you
Full Stack Developer
Front End Web Developer
Back End Web Developer
Web Producer
Technical Project Manager
QA and Test Engineer
Software Developer Application
Development Manager
Computer Programmer
Web Designer
Email Developer
now im confuse to where to start since its kinda sound too much from that video's perspective
What do we have to learn for front end development???
i have been back end junior developer for almost 6 month now and i was going for full stack but now i can see your point … and still there so much to learn in back-end , thanks for clearing my mand. cheers mate
Thank you so much …! HAVE A GOOD DAY
Thank you
My first job title was just: Developer
Looking back, I think perhaps my boss was looking for someone to do full-stack work without getting full-stack benefits haha
I had to do frontend, backend and mobile(react-native)
But it was my first job, I learned a lot of things so its all good 😀
Thanks for the advice,, as a beginner what programming language should i focus on to master the front-end,,,,Thanks again 😅😂✨
My guy is spot on
after thinking it over i agree 100% with this.
makes sense
completley agree! Absolute waste of time trying to learn backend before front.
