it is soooo difficult to choose a winner here. Sony just seems to have a more natural look, whilst the samsung has much sharper images during daylight shots. I think if were talking cinematography, you kind of have to give it to sony, wich is a shame because i have the note 10 already :/

The Sony shots look more DSLR like especially when it comes to background blur. For example in the Sony A7 shot the X5 took a real life shot of what your eyes would see if you was looking at the camera. Where is the Samsung put everything in focus taking away from the subject of importance.
I suppose being a photographer gives me a different way of looking at photos. Some may agree some may disagree.

I understand the sony delivers more natural colors, but that's about the only thing it has over the note 10. I don't mind the colors being off as long as i get a brilliant, bright, sharp, detailed well exposed photo with good HDR & balance of foreground & background. The Sony is weaker in areas such as exposure, HDR, sharpness & details. Sony I'll go for the Samsung & its fake boosted colors any day. Natural photos are only good when they're sharp, detailed & well exposed with good dynamic range.

Очень жаль, что sony в последнее время сливают по камерам корейцам и даже китайцам. Хотя те же матрицы используют китайцы. Я много пользовал сотиков sony, вот раньше мобилы были классные, а сейчас один бред . Что за толстые рамки сверху и снизу ? Компания пытается навязать покупателю свои хотелки. Последний мой сотик sony это z ultra. Больше сотовые sony лично я покупать не собираюсь. Сейчас двигаюсь наmeizu note 9, так скажу , что этот аппарат на голову выше многих sony, которые дороже в два раза. Когда можно будет взять смартфон sony в руки и сказать, -это лучшая камера. Наверное никогда. Вот поэтому одого потенциального клиента они потеряли. Судя по этому видеоролику, однозачно samsung лучше и не надо пользователям sony сидеть и хвалить свои сотики. Смотрите на вещи открытыми глазами.

For camera, I prefer Sony or Pixel… It's good in their own way.. Most of the other phone still has good camera, but mostly like iPhone which they make your acne gone.. Hahaha, but Sony and Pixel make it clear 😂 I hate this 2 brand… (prefer, but hate)

Always hated the unnatural colours of Samsung. I don’t care how sharp the image is when it looks nothing like the actual subject. I went from my galaxy s7 edge to an iPhone 8 plus and I shall never go back. Samsung’s post processing on its pics ain’t fooling me, colours are off, brightness is off. It looks like you’re in a video game.

Honestly, both has pros and cons. I just hate the warmer colors of Samsung, they're overly obsessed with it – Sony fan but Note user here.

I honestly only came to see how my future phone's cam will be like, I see I will be spending more time in nature thanks to it <3
It's interesting how my old phone Xperia T could capture better images upclose than my Xperia Z5 (tho i think I broke the cam when it fell once). If you ever think of doing a video with old phones, I warmly recommend the Xperia T. He's the best grandpa phone ever, still kicking
