I got my Pixel 4, and loved it for the month I had it before it had a problem reading SIM cards. Rebooted software and no fix, looked it up online and apparently this and a couple other hardware issues do appear on several of their phones. Also no Google service in my country so it ended up being a hassle. Got the refund and getting something more reliable.
Still daily-driving the Pixel 4xl. Honestly, the battery should have been better but it's a 1 day phone so I won't say it's terrible or something. Cameras are just too damn good with photos. I prefer them to iphone 12 shots 9/10 times. Have faced no software bugs yet and I'd say it's really been a near-perfect experience using this phone for almost 2 years now.
What about the selfie cam , sharp or blurry?

As someone whos in the process of dumping Apple I picked up a renewed Pixel4 on Amazon for $230ish and I'm very happy. Later this year I will pickup a Pixel6 when that's released. Excellent video.

I bought the Pixel 4 after watching your video for a backup phone, I have the 4a and had almost dropped it twice in the preceding weeks of seeing this video, so rather than being without a phone at all til a new one shows up, I'm ready for the phone-Apocalypse. The price for one I picked up was $220.00, I put my sim in it and have everything all setup ready to go should I need it, put the sim back into the 4a sleep better knowing a backup phone ready should I need it. I was enjoying mine until two weeks ago….shortly after plugging in, I picked up to check something…the cord was blazing hot. Unplugged, waited a while then tried charging again…no go. Fried. Exactly one week after warranty.
I have a Google 5 now. Much better imo. Battery life malyes the 4 look laughable
Actually after leaving motion sense on for 2 hours it did not use as much battery life as he said, I only lost 3% of battery life
We know about the camera, I'm waiting on knowing how many apps don't work with face unlock, and what the alternative methods are instead of typing your passcode each time.
Edit: this omission shows you actually don't use the phone at all.
Just got mine for 185$ used on swappa such a good value especially for the performance and build, though I miss my lg v40 (dropped it from the second story of a mall) that's also a good phone to get or the s10e

I didn't realize this phone was even present in my country! Just went ahead and got an iPhone 11.
Love this phone. I have the XL so no issue with the battery. The Soli face recognition works SO much better than fingerprint unlock.
Also about the only premium phone without a distracting hole punch or notch camera cutout.

Awesome review :), I just bought a Pixel 4 (Ebay seller:soonersoft) just to try out android 12 once it goes official. So far I'm loving the phone and have been using it for my daily drive.
I actually really like the way the Pixel 4 looks from the front. Way better than a notch.
It was a let down for $800 but the biggest steal in 2021 . Better specs than the pixel 5 minus the 5g.
Ill wait for a couple of months and get one on kijiji for a very locwer & cheaper price just to experience the pixel.
