Hey Chaps – If you're not sold on the Fold 3… what COULD Samsung do to convince you to buy the Fold 4?

Update: I am aware of Labs for aspect ratios, I tried it, but in IG for example it still cuts off stories. So only a partial fix

Wrong side of history. The future is folding, either to make a device more convenient or more immersive. And I'm not a tech guy. Lol

I'm hoping this works well with the 4g watch. Three different screen sizes for what I'm doing. The idea of a bigger screen when I need it and being able to leave it in the car or at home is what I'm looking forward to.

I'm getting a Galaxy Z Fold 3 in a day, ive learned i quit listen to these biased YouTube reviewers, the only phone they will recommend are outdated iPhone's .

I rather to buy phone and tablet than buying the fold3 with the same price

if you can buy a refurbished z fold 2 from trusted sellers go for around £800 for a very good condition I'd say that's the best option to be honest (if your in the market for a foldable)

I'll just wait on the Note 22 Ultra. I won't compromise camera quality for a phone that expensive, although I love the big size inner screen even without the aspect ratio fixes!

Just picked up my preordered Flip3 last weekend from Samsung KX as well. So far, as a long time iPhone user since iPhone 4, I really enjoy using the Flip3.

Sure Apple still has a better UX overall and Samsung's software is still fairly unstable and quirky, but they really strike a nice balance here, making the Flip3 shines at its strengths without major compromises, especially at this price level.

I have no doubt this iteration of folding phones, both Flip and Fold, is going to be the first generation seeing general public adoption.

As a Fold 2 user for 10 months I completely agree. If you’re on the go a lot this phone is not practical. Can actually be counter productive.

Ive played with the fold 3 at 2 different locations and that front screen is to small, the battery is to weak, and the price is to high. I have no reason to ugrade from my note 10 plus but I will if another note is released.

It's your opinion but I'd rather have a phone that I can unfold when I want an immersive experience than just a phone like everyone's else's and I can get more done on without having to lug a laptop or tablet along

You can choose which apps in labs to fill in the whole screen, like Twitter for example….so, that kind of negates that argument

For better gaming I'd be tempted to switch from my S21U to the fold 3, but surely its cheaper for me just to buy an ipad…. lol

You should've been around 10 years ago when the 3.5" iphone screen was considered normal. You wouldn't be complaining about typing on that skinny front screen – you were probably in diapers back then though.

This is what happens when a company loses touch with its customers. They live in the same bubble as the reviewers do . They listen to the reviewers who lives in the same bubble as themselves and lose touch with the people who have to use and purchase the product with their own money and live with it every single day. The consumers don't live in the same bubble financially or environmentally . 2 thousand dollars is just out of reach for most consumers , especially something that's not used in the same environment as the others. Samsung has lost touch firstly with its S line this year and now the foldables just prove my point about losing touch .

You forgot to mention the galaxy labs can easily fix the aspect ratio of apps like Instagram… plus people need to stop saying "oh the phone is still too thick" obviously its going to be thicker than usual. Its two halves of a phone stacked on top of each other. People expect this phone to be as thin as paper when folded. People need to be more realistic about the time we are in with this type of technology. Imo the fold 3 after comparing to the 21 ultra. I'd still choose the Fold over the ultra. The 1799$ price is justified

I've been using fold 2 and it's been awesome . Haven't used my computer or tablet for a long time . Now with s-pen support and water resistant is an awesome edition . This is definitely for power users like my self , if u just gonna look at Instagram stay with a regular phone .

There’s a labs feature in the settings were you can force apps to fill the screen by flipping the toggle. There’s also a dock that can be set on the left or right side that can be like a dock on a computer.
