"there is an m dot 2 slot for a boot SSD to go along with your tuna 1/2 inch hard drive"
Youtube captions are sooooo worth reading…
Went from this to a Dell 7597, Dell G7 9570, now to a Alienware M17 R4. So awesome. 👌
5 years later of owning this laptop and the hinge is absolute garbage, the chassis of the laptop slowly detach from the hinge and destroys the body of the laptop after opening the lid on a daily basis. The rest is decent tho. I recommend getting an SSD if it yours didn't already come with it.
i had the pleasure of using one of these for 4 years. Now, i have a RTX 3070 and a 5800x . Major upgrade, but this was my baby for sure.
I still have mine, never really ran games well, but stills works great with light wear and tear, waiting for my snazzy Zephyrus G15 503 to arrive.
And until a week ago, this was my primary computer. I did everything-including gaming-on it for nearly five years. Replaced a keyboard that lost a key, added some memory, opened the bottom to clean out cat hair from the vents. That's it. And it still runs like the day I bought it.
Now, I've got a gaming desktop, but the Inspiron's still good enough to run Discord while I'm in games
When a budget laptop from 2015 has better webcam than your 2020 gaming laptop
I got one of these second hand with 16gb upgraded ram and ssd for 600$…. best purchase ive ever made
can we still buy this thing in 2021 🙄
I still have the i7 16 gb ram version
I have this laptop. It stinks. The hinge broke on its own, and it performs like shit.
Watching this in 2020 with a Dell Inspiron 7559
A true sleeper
i just bought one of these for 400 dollars so a friend can play some lighter games on it.
After 4 years of service, this device is still my best buy so far. To think that I can run Doom Eternal on low graphics with 45 to 60 fps is crazy!
I'm still a user of the Dell Inspiron 15 7559, who's still using it?😋
I have the i7 touchscreen version of this and it barely runs any games past 60 fps. Kinda sucks
Got the 4K touchscreen microsoft edition, still going strong.
There's an issue where the hinge kills itself and it's not covered under warranty so DON'T BUY THIS
Vid's old as hell, but when I try to plug in this laptop, it makes an electric chirping noise and doesn't receive power. This happened years ago and and JUST after the warranty expired so I've had this brick and since moved on. Since I'm heading into the military as an officer, I really don't want to lug my whole tower and monitor to my training base. I heard that the motherboard could be burnt out, but replacements for the damn thing are as much as a PS4 pro… but I already own the laptop so I'd like to have the thing fixed.
Great laptop for the price, and its upgradability has kept it going strong for my brother, whose has it as his daily driver!
Well my laptop(same as the one in the video) sounds like a legit jet engine
That laptop was about to fall
4 years later, still going strong!!
It's great and all but you must be careful with replacement chargers, I ended up with a 100W charger after the original 130W one broke. Performance was inhaled.
Gaming Laptop for Kids
It is shit it keeps shutting off randomly
I remember drooling over this laptop when I was younger 5 years ago. I wanted to start PC gaming for so long and felt like it was never gonna happen. Going from a cheap $200 laptop to now an rtx 2070 super and R5 3600 I can't believe I've come so far! Good memories 🙂
“WHERE’S THE ALIENWARE AT SON?!
Looool
This is probably the only thing I own that I've seen on LTT haha
wtf in 2020 this is 2000 dollars?
My laptop
This is the kinda laptop you get that is really smooth and good at first but starts to lose its power after a while
So here I am 4 gaming years later with my 7559.
Just about to add a 500GB SSD and another 8GB of RAM
to keep it sweet. Nice machine for the price.
Has anyone tried streaming with the 16GB RAM/i7 build? If so, how was your experience?
I am still rocking this laptop today, its still very good for everything i do – light gaming (Dota 2, older games), basic office work, some photoshop, inkscape … cant say it didnt pay for itself already. Only thing i did was upgrade to M.2 257 Gb SSD.
This laptop was terrible. My left hinge fell off and over time there was a decrease in performance. I am now stuck with this “gaming” computer running almost any game 30 FPS. While also having to be extremely cautious when opening and closing the laptop, because if I do it just a tad too fast it will break.
Just put one of these on layaway at a pawnshop for $225, good deal?
Don't know why this video popped up on my newsfeed but funnily enough I bought this laptop back in 2016 thanks to the huge amount of Youtube praise on the 7559.
Ive got it. It’s great.
In my experience, the hinge gets very loose after a year or two. I love the trackpad, it's super precise and feels good to run my finger across it. The speakers are also super nice. The underside subwoofer and loud sound bar is way better than most laptops I've used.
My old 7559's hinges actually broke just after my warranty expired. It's a good PC in my opinion, but Dell cheaped out in what I would consider to be one of the most important parts of a computer. You know, so it doesn't randomly break conveniently after the warranty expires so Dell won't have to honor it and take responsibility.
I've been running this beast for 5 years and it has had no problems! I love it
