Hello. I recently asked for help but I wasn’t too sure if you would respond but I still need assistance, I completely read the article, but I’m still not too sure I understood it if they don’t appear on in my people tab than I’m all good because under Locate A Friend it says, “Under People, choose the name of your friend who is sharing their location with you.” And under Stop Sharing With One Person it says, “Open the Find My app and select the People tab. Choose the person you want to stop sharing your location with.” So I’m still confused if the people tab is mutual where they can see me and I can see or if since I don’t see the person under the people tab that means they can’t see my location. Basically I’m still confused and uncertain if that because I can’t see them under the people tab if they can see me or not or if that just means that I can’t see them, but on their device if they can still see me. Thank you again and sorry to be a bother, but I’d really appreciate the help.
I know it’s been a while since this video has been uploaded, but I have a question. So recently I got a random notification that a stranger that I don’t know and isn’t in my contacts shared their location with me, I pressed view when I saw notification and pressed the option to not share my location with them, but I’m super paranoid and just wanna make sure I’m not sharing my location with them. Which comes to my question in the people tab on Find My are people I see only people who can see my location or or people who’s location I can see or both? If it’s not a list of people who can see my location is there a way I can check who can see my location? As well if the stranger can see my location is there a way to remove them? I’m sorry to bombard you with question, but I’d really appreciate the help because I’m a bit nervous. Thank you.
I tried to find my iphone from my mac after i turned the settings on find my but my mac could not track it. I used Find my iphone on icloud and the application already on mac but both couldnt find it. I did this with the phone in a nearby room.
