I have been with a Pixel 3 XL since it's release, first phone I purchased myself. My parents always bought iPhones, and I would see the receipt, and say what the fuck why would anyone buy this? So when I saw the Pixel 3 XL release, and reviews, I was thrilled, and i bought it immediately. This week I thought about upgrading when phone release season comes, so I check out what Google is doing and I come back to this shit. My wife's just been shagged by my childhood bully while I was in Iraq, now I have to drop her, bye Google I think I'm getting a One Plus.
I am not surprised these companies try to milk more money in the name of saving environment scam.
at least for android we have compatible charging brick for the usb C . unlike apple they ship the 12 with the usb C to lightning and expecting people to already have a Usb C charging brick ? all the model before the ip 12 has the old lightning to lightning brick except for the 11 pro.
People already have spare phones too , then why to release new one duh.
If you want these companies to include chargers, don't buy their products when they remove it.

Okay listen, I don't care about the stupid charger situation. I have wireless chargers all over my house, in my car and on my desk at work. I guarantee that I have no less than 20 charging bricks in phone/ tablet boxes and drawers around my house. These things are true!
I'd like to point out two things, 1. Samsung has included store credits with every current flagship phone that you can choose to use to get a damn charger. Plus, for the record, they offered me a choice of two chargers with the Fold 3 on top of a $200 credit. 2. The S21 series and now the Fold phones are SIGNIFICANTLY less expensive than the previous models. With the Fold 3 coming in at $200 less than the Fold 2 and Flip 3 coming in at about $400 less than the Flip. WTF are you talking about?
I'm always open to hearing legitimate complaints about manufacturers, including Samsung but these BS, click bait, garbage videos are getting on my nerves. Manufactures are capable of having two reasons for not including the power brick. One could be cost savings/ profit but the other could honestly be environmental/ company image. Things are rarely black and white. For example, I doubt you really care about this issue and have only made this video to drum up YouTube views and ad revenue. Oh, you care about the charger situation AND you want to make money?… I see…

Anyone who is so overwhelmed by their own virtuosity regarding saving the planet in my opinion needs to wake up. The earth is how many billions of years old? Maybe the dinosaur drove to many vehicles that ran on that ever so evil "fossil fuel"?? Any human that believes the human race has any effect on the outcome of a planet that has survived meteor strikes, global ice ages (which if wouldn't have continued to thaw the human race wouldn't exist) ! Yes we all love our planet and are all responsible for picking up our trash and being efficient with waste. This has nothing to do with climate change and everything to do with basic human common decency! It seems people would actually agree with contractors if they said yes your new home is complete but in order to prevent climate change (weather) we eliminated your heater, oven and only allow 1 gallon of water to run a day in YOUR VERY EXPENSIVE HOME YOU JUST PAID FOR! The funniest part? As I listened to this video and could hear common sense in the reasoning I immediately knew there would be those who believe the unbelievable would start screaming "I CANT BELIEVE YOU DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOUR TOLD ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE! ONLY GOOD PEOPLE FOLLOW COMPLETELY REDICULOUS CLAIMS AND IGNORE COMMON SENSE! IMO It is the opitome of human arrogance to believe humans using fossil fuels for 150 years have the power to destroy a planet billions of years old. Again common sense! Not providing a power brick is the exact same reason Apple claims to release a "BRAND NEW, BEAUTIFUL, NEVER SEEN BEFORE" phone yearly that is almost identical to every phone since the iphone 6. PURE UNADULTERATED GREED!

I mean, I have so many chargers and usb-c cables that I just leave the new one in the box. Unless it's a specific phone that has their own 60w fast charger or something, then I'll use that, but since USB-C is universal, it makes sense not to include a charging adapter.
Yes it's all BS when they say they are doing to limit the wast.. smh.. but we keep supporting them.
Will they actually drop the phone globally finally? We're 6 phones in and its still only been available in like US and a very few select countries. If they finally going global so they an compete it seems very counterintuive to actually remove the charger as most of the world hasnt been able to get a pixel before.
Waiting have an upgrade available. But we keep taking stuff out. Remember removable batteries, ir blasters? Headphone jacks. Now no charging blocks for $1000 plus phone. Pass. What happened? Expandable SD card
