I still don’t understand why I need a phone that flips
I got mine on the 082621 .. testing it out. Currently I have the S21 Elite which have awesome cameras. I have ordered the S pen for the Fold so I will make a final decision on the Fold once I try it with the S pen. I like it so far, still working on the various functions. I find it a bit clumsy to open but I think that will get better as I grow use to handling the phone. I give a 9 out 10 as of this time

What if it was much wider ? the bigger battery would be fitted and offcorse bigger inner and outer display and it wouldnt look like a remote.

I got it already. Waiting for a drop test. Based on fold 2 drop test result, I feel maybe a case for old 3 is not necessary, but I could be wrong. Let's keep on waiting. I think folding would make sense if you don't need added weight from a case.

Great review . I carry 2 phone . Currently an iPhone 12 mini and a note 10. I preordered both the flip and the fold. So I guess I am into this new tech. Would not have ordered the fold if I couldn't use an spen. I would have put a new battery in my old note . The way I use the second phone means the spen is a must
Have mine for 2 days now. Was using a Note 20 Ultra, which I loved. The Fold 3 leaves me "wanting more" in some areas, but absolutely "blows my mind" in other ways. For instance, the "narrow candy bar" front display has me wishing it were just 3/8" wider as I find I'm constantly mis-typing, especially with a case on. Butttttt, at the same time I absolutely find taking phone calls up to to your ear a million times better and more comfortable than my super wide Note 20 Ultra. Plus, it's extremely difficult to type one handed in on the Note because it's so wide. I can't use it one handed, whereas the Fold 3 does not suffer from this.
Battery life on my Note exceeded my expectations. I could get a full day of use in most cases. Granted, I set my Note to 60HZ. The Fold 3 is disappointing in this department. I find myself having to use the front display a lot more than I'd like to because I need to conserve battery life. I'm not getting anywhere near a day, not even half a day, on my Fold 3. It's NOT EVEN CLOSE, and that's extremely disappointing and annoying. I find myself constantly charging my Fold 3 throughout the day "just in case I'm going to be away, unable to charge, at some point during the day". I NEVER worried about that within my Note.
So the question for me becomes: am I willing to live with the poor battery life, not as good as camera's, and skinny front display, with its positives and negatives ???
I have to say: ABSOLUTELY !!!! That inside screen and all that real estate gives you productivity and views you simply will not get on ANY other smartphone. The ability to multi-task is unrivaled. Even the Note 20 Ultra, in my opinion, can't compare when you compare the Fold 3 large inside screen with the Notes. It's not even close in my opinion. Would I have paid $1800.00 for this experience IF Samsung didn't offer the generous trade in allowance, credits, and insurance ??? No. I wouldn't. But for roughly $500.00 out of pocket, it was a no brainer for me. I LOVE this experience.

Please help. I've gone to three different T-Mobile stores one of them used to be a Sprint store and they called their technical support and said they cannot activate it. I then called Sprint myself to see if they can activate it with the new SIM card that they gave me they cannot also and said there is a current issue with Samsung and the phone and they are trying to fix it. I called Samsung care they sort of seemed to know about an issue. And I mean that literally they sort of seem to know about an issue. I'm concerned that there is no urgency in the concern. Only have seven days to hold the phone until I can return it. I love the phone.

People tend to look outward, considering statistics or status, etc. The real question is what are your needs and use for a device? If a candy bar phone like the S21 Ultra with best resolution display and excellent camera or iPhone12 (with its slower 60Hz refresh rate) with the familiar Apple iOS and walled garden are what turn you on, then this product is not for you. If you love using an SPen, are a power user who dances with multi-tasking windows, is addicted to DEX or love being able to share stuff (like photos or videos) with friends then this Fold3 will probably give you even more pleasure than ordinary candy bar phones. One word of caution: both the Fold3 and Flip3 can be addicting!!

Perfect device for Nintendo DS emulation
Z Fold 3 is selling like HotCakes 🥞 , and that's a Great thing. The Z Fold 3 Cameras are the bare minimum for a Flagship phone. Everyone was Spoiled by the S21 Ultra and Note 20 Ultra and forgot that even with all those megapixels, those Cameras are just barely better than the Z Fold 3. And the Z Fold 3 Cameras are better than any Iphone. I have both and can Prove it. So if that's the case, all Samsung need is a minor upgrade to the Z Fold 4 Cameras. Give use three Cameras all with 20 megapixels. That's all that's needed. Not asking for the Z Fold 4 to be worth $3200 so 20 megapixels is a Beast compared to non Samsung phones.
I'm not sure how much budget samsung blew on the UDC but I would have preferred a hole punch or no camera at all if it meant they could have budgeted more battery or better cameras.
I Love Samsung, but they underestimated the Z Fold 3 sales. A Hurricane might delay my delivery but there are people who's Z Fold 3 is on backorder for September 8th and even September 17th. I Wonder what I got to do to get on the YouTuber list because all of them got their Z Fold 3 Immediately and I'm not even talking about the review units that were sent to them prior to the unpacked event. The Z Fold 4 needs to have a larger cover screen with S Pen Capabilities as well. I watch a lot of Apps so the under display cameras is just to move out my way as I Experience the Best Entertainment Beast on the Market.
