Dell cheats customers with the webcam specification. it comes with a 720 p webcam but listed as 1280p on website….cheap cost cutting gimmick and no quality…..for a 50K product. The mouse pad is good for nothing…..I have to return the product as its not working. Better use an external mouse….the track pad is not useable at all.

Is It Good For Gaming?
now late in 2020, after 4 years of use as my main system, I am ready to upgrade. It was a good workhorse but now I am banging my keyboard in frustration. Main use is with After Effects. The only big complaint was a flaky audio port. Would always have to reboot if I used a headset to get the speakers back.

Too many problems with this machine – unfortunately this is what I got from my workplace. It is the 4K version with i7-7820HQ, heats up and shuts down occasionally, too much light leaks off the sides of screen, backspace button already making sounds and missing key strokes, laptop fans beat the noise of my ceiling fan even when doing moderately intensive work. My previous M6800 was quieter. Battery life is okay – built in speakers are nice for such a thin machine.
