So how do you apply different settings to different inputs? How does the TV know, these settings are for all SD regardless of input or all HD regardless of input or all 4k regardless of input. can setting be changed and saved per App, ie: different settings for Youtube Vs Netflix or Prime?
I gave 2x C7's(55&65), 1x GX(65) , and 1x G1(77) and I hate the G1's UI! Setting are ugly and less intuitive and the home menu kills whatever you are watching before launching another app. So much slower and more cluttered! GX UI was far better and the G7's are clean and pure joy to use. G1 also seems to be a step back in audio quality from GX… Starting to think I should have pocketed $1000 and went GX.
Tried this on the c1 and the SD picture is brutal with these settings
How do you get HDR Select Mode up in settings? I can't seem to find it
Hmmm I can't find the hdr settings on mine. On yours it's right above "Peak Brightness" but on mine it's not there. I must be doing something wrong

I can't seem to find the HDR and Dolby Vision sections. Does it not come with the C1 or do I need a HDR/DV device connected to have the ability to adjust the settings?

Can the settings be applied to the C1 or will there a separate C1 one done?
I now have that Gamma isn't greyed out anymore but it's selectable. Ofcourse I set it to BT.1886, but yesterday it was BT.1886 by default and was grey meaning not adjustable
Edit: I did a settings reset and even complete factory reset, but gamma stays adjustable in filmmaker mode while it first always was greyed out and at BT.1886 default

How come you have the (user) notification at the Dolby cinema mode? You did'nt change anything there

Thanks so much for this video. Is there a reason you left the Dolby Vision sharpness at 20 but reduced the sdr to 5? Should it be the same on each or Dolby 20 > HDR10 10 > SDR 5?
I just got one of these new G1s and I’m coming over from an old LED 1080p Samsung. So this is all new to me. Can somebody explain to me regular tv viewing e.g. DirecTv, that would be classified as “SDR” correct? And is Filmmaker Mode the best input for viewing cable? It seems really washed out to me almost like a yellow or off white tint.
I’ve always thought SD meant non HD like non Hi Def channels but my DirecTv does have HD channels is it still SDR?

Apologies for my ignorance, but I don't know how to find SDR HDR and Dolby Vision listed material. I've Sky Q, Netflix and Amazon Prime. I've set the tv in general as described, but without the headings that are listed here.
