I found a used one at a store

I got mine for 3d Object creation similar to cad
and to program on and play games on not the 2d but the near to high 3d

I found out there is a 5100 gpu card at nearly the same price I payed for this
like near $900 but I found anther one from a site for about $400
for the gpu

I have the k4100m

I hope to replace it some day with the better one

I know I can put two hard/ssd's drives in this

I got mine with only a 120 gb emmc
and a 500gb hard drive

both are not enough for all the program I need to install
even with telling 90 percent of the programs to use the hard drive
a few want to use the ssd and there is only about 30 gb free

I wish they had not included the intel gpu as it seem to such a wast of space

I hope to max this out before it hits end of life for me

M4800 here, there is one peripheral you forgot. There's a slice battery for the bottom. You can charge them up, and keep using those throughout the day. They last another 2 hours on decent work, so with 2 batteries, you can extend the battery life to 6 hours.

This laptop was a beast a while back. But Dell has significantly reduced the footprint of their mobile workstations.

I recently picked up a both a refurbed M6800 and an M4800(the 15 inch) for just over a grand total, both like new, and both came with 32GB of RAM and SSD's. Hell, the M4800 actually came with an IGZO 4K screen. Personally I love how they look and the thickness doesn't bother me at all.

4GB, 4GB, and 8GB of DDR5 Memory "Respectively" (not respectfully). Good review. Thinking of buying one of these now for less than $100.

Excellent Overview, Nearing 5 years and still using the M6800. Using softwares like Creo and 3Ds Max along with 2 monitors on Win X and still going strong. It's heavy as a brick, carry it back home from office daily but hey gets the job done.

you should change your style, a normal presentation style………..because it tech……..not a fashion show

Excellent overview and review. Daily M6800 user for almost 3 years. Lots of Solidworks CAD, Dock + 2 external monitors. Super reliable. Only issue has been screen latch which was repaired under warranty.

I could care less about weight all that matters is the specs and screen size
