This talk discusses the seriousness of the current environmental situation with special emphasis on the state of wildlife, in Cambodia and the broader region. Talking from 26 years of personal experience, environmental activist, Ben Davis, discusses various things that can be done by normal, concerned individuals to mitigate degradation and at least save pockets of forest and wildlife. A primary concern is awarenessraising at all levels, for, how can urban people be concerned about something that they are not even aware exists? Rural people, on the other hand, need to know that they may very well be destroying the last remanets of endemic biodiversity. The talk finishes with ideas of how everyone can get involved and play an important part in ensuring that Cambodia’s splendid natural wonders will be around for future generations to enjoy. Climate Change – A Short Film [4K]

Original Video by Philip Kapadia: https://youtu.be/DhhVr5iLFc
The challenge facing our climate is the greatest existential threat of our lifetime. The actions will take now will determine the future for generations to come. Now is not a time for half measures nor is it a time where we can we afford to continue our prioritization of profit over people. Climate change is greater than any one of us, but it requires every single one of us to come together to ensure there can and will be a future for the next to come.
This isn’t a problem half measures can solve. It goes beyond energy efficiency and zero net emissions. We need to actively remove carbon from the atmosphere and do so within the next ten years or else we face irreparable damage to our atmosphere. The implications are huge mass disease caused by carbon pollution, rising sea levels, extinction, shortages of every major resource, migration inland. The cost of waiting far exceeds the price to act now. We need bold policies that put the life and continuity of humankind above profit.
Make sure to like and share with everyone you know!
We need to spread these information, we need our society to wake up!

Respect for the environment: Protection and Conservation | Christoph Kiessling | TEDxSOAS

Population boom is a worrying phenomenon, especially in Africa and Asia. Humans are devastating natural habitats. Civilisation and industry are replacing wild environments and bringing animals to extinction. Here is to the importance of education, awareness and conservation carried out by modern zoos, that are so involved with research projects, protecting endangered species and raising awareness. Every one of us should be involved to create a better future: loving, respecting and caring, committed in everything that we do and knowing that it is our responsibility to actively protect our planet and all its inhabitants. Christoph Kiessling is the President of Loro Parque Fundación (LPF), an organization founded in 1994, for the conservation of animals and biodiversity, aiming to protect endangered species around the planet. Research, responsible breeding and activities with local communities are a part of LPF’s program. The foundation is proud to have helped 9 species of parrots from extinction. It also maintains the World’s largest parrot genetic reserve, partly on exhibition at Loro Parque (Tenerife, Spain).
Christoph Kiessling is also Vice President of Loro Parque and CEO of Siam Park, respectively Nr.1 zoo and Nr.1 waterpark in the World, according to Tripadvisor. Loro Parque group recently opened the aquarium Poema del Mar in Gran Canaria, Spain, in line with the group’s mission to educate and actively protect this amazing blue planet we live in. Welcome to Tutway.
A unique platform where learning is fun.
Now there is no distinction between kids’ fun time and study time.
At Tutway, we believe in a very simple idea that audiovisual learning is the most effective tool for grasping knowledge. Many researchers have proven that kids learn a lot by playing interactive games and watching audiovisual animated lessons as compared to reading from books.
That’s when Tutway comes to the rescue.
Tutway is a supplementary education program where kids can learn at their own pace. The students can watch animated videos which are so meticulously made that they can understand even the most complex concepts very easily. There is a question bank at the end of each video where students can answer those questions multiple times and test whether they have grasped knowledge completely or not.
We have information systems embedded in the program where parents can monitor realtime performance of their kids and get up to date information about their performance, including quizzes attempted and the marks got in each quiz, both in tabular and graphical formats. Regular reports are emailed to the parents so that the parents can analyze their kids’ performance.
If we want to learn highlevel concepts, we should have a clear understanding of the basic concepts. For instance, if kids don’t know about addition and subtraction, they cannot do multiplication, and if they don’t know about multiplication, they cannot do division, and if they don’t have knowledge of these four basic operations, Algebra cannot be done by them, and it goes on and on.
Same applies to the English language if kids don’t have sound knowledge of grammar and vocabulary; it becomes extremely difficult for them to have their communication skills.
Knowledge of the scientific concepts is also required for observing physical, chemical, biological phenomena happening all around us.
That is why; Tutway has thousands of animated videos on Maths, English, and Science to clear the basics of these subjects. It perfectly suits most of the educational needs of most of the students, regardless of their learning abilities.
So hurry up, download the Tutway app and book a freedemo class to make education interactive and fun experience.
